A live product demonstration for the Society for Digital Mental Health annual conference, where Mindsigns Health™ was a gold-level exhibitor. Co-founder and CEO Michel Birnbaum presents the platform and its three indications, starting with concussion care built on an adaptation of SCAT6 for remote symptom monitoring, then walks through the GenMind™ patient and clinician screens and NeuroBrowser™ EEG review, including background slowing.

MedTech Minis Episode 9
Our advisor Suzy Engwall hosts Michel Birnbaum on MedTech Minis. They discuss the shortage of mental health professionals, why Michel founded the company, and how the platform works: automated EEG analysis for neurologists and EEG technologists in hospitals and specialty centers, and remote mental health monitoring from a smartphone, with daily consent and ecological momentary assessment, focused on negative symptoms and cognitive impairment.

Data protection across the data life cycle, and combining EEG with cognitive assessment for concussion and traumatic brain injury are also covered in this interview.

ASU MedTech Accelerator
A collaboration between Mayo Clinic and Arizona State University's Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation, the MedTech Accelerator provides medical device and healthcare IT early-stage companies with personalized business development plans to collaborate with Mayo Clinic and ASU and accelerate go to market and investment opportunities. This interview gave Michel the opportunity to speak on our “why”: neurological and mental illness touches almost everyone, and AI analysis of digital biomarkers can support treatment monitoring and better outcomes.
